Sana'a - (Saba):
The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning has forecast scattered rainfall of varying intensity across several governorates, and widespread dust in Mahrah and Hadramaut governorates over the next 24 hours.
The center stated in its weather bulletin that varying intensity rainfall, sometimes accompanied by thunder, is expected in the governorates of Ibb, Taiz, Dhale'a, Dhamar, and the highlands of Lahj and Abyan.
Scattered rain is also expected in parts of the governorates of Saada, Amran, Hajjah, Mahwit, Sana'a, Raymah, Bayda, Shabwah, and the coasts of Mahrah.
The center indicated widespread dust in the governorates of Al Mahrah and Hadramaut.
The amount of rainfall measured at meteorological stations in Ibb over the past 24 hours was 15.5 mm, and in Taiz: 4.6 mm.
The center warned of thunderstorms and avoiding floodwaters during and after rainfall.
It called on citizens in Hadhramaut and Mahrah governorates to take necessary precautions and avoid direct exposure to dust, especially the elderly, children, and those with respiratory illnesses.
