The Palestinian Association in Bulgaria organized a solidarity vigil on Saturday in the heart of the capital, Sofia, in front of the Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
This event was part of a series of solidarity actions in support of the Palestinian people and in condemnation of the ongoing genocide committed by the Israeli enemy in the Gaza Strip.
Despite heavy rain, dozens of members of Arab communities, along with a large number of Bulgarian citizens who support the Palestinian cause, gathered to demand an end to the genocide against the Palestinian people and to call for justice after decades of oppression, according to the Palestinian News Agency "WAFA."
During the event, Rima Daghmosh delivered a speech on behalf of the Palestinian Association in Bulgaria, emphasizing the deep historical ties between Bulgaria and Palestine. She highlighted the ongoing genocide that the Palestinian people have been enduring since October 7, 2023.
This vigil was part of a series of solidarity events organized by Palestinian and Arab communities worldwide to pressure the international community into taking action to stop the genocide and support the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.
