Gaza – SABA:
The Government Media Office in Gaza published today, Wednesday, key statistics on the genocide committed by the Israeli occupation against the Gaza Strip from Saturday, October 7, 2023, to Wednesday, May 28, 2025, marking 600 days of aggression:
1. Population Data and General Context:
- Over 2.4 million people in Gaza face genocide, starvation, and ethnic cleansing.
- 600 days of genocide and ethnic cleansing against civilians in Gaza.
- 88%+ of Gaza has been destroyed by Israeli bombardment.
- $62+ billion in preliminary direct losses due to the genocide.
- 77% of Gaza’s land has been taken by occupation through invasion, firepower, and forced displacement.
- 46 times Israel bombed Al-Mawasi, an area it falsely claimed to be “safe.”
2. Martyrs, Missing Persons, and Massacres:
- 63,000+ total martyrs and missing persons since the genocide began.
- 54,084 confirmed martyrs received by hospitals.
- 9,000+ missing, many still under rubble or their fate unknown.
- 18,000+ child martyrs, with 16,854 confirmed in hospitals.
- 12,400+ female martyrs, 8,968 of whom were confirmed in hospitals.
- 7,950+ mothers were among the martyrs.
- 932 children under 1 year old were martyred.
- 356 infants were born and killed during the war.
- 1,580 healthcare workers were killed.
- 115 civil defense personnel were killed.
- 220 journalists were killed.
- 754 police and aid security personnel were killed.
- 15,000+ documented massacres.
- 14,000+ families were targeted in massacres.
- 2,483 families were completely erased from civil records (7,120 martyrs).
- 5,620+ families had only one survivor left (10,151 martyrs).
- 60%+ of martyrs are children, women, and elderly.
- 58 died from malnutrition (including 53 children).
- 242 died due to lack of food and medicine, mostly children and elderly.
- 26 kidney patients died due to lack of nutrition and care.

- 362 medical workers detained.
- 48 journalists detained.

- 42,000+ orphaned children.
- 2.136 million+ cases of infectious diseases due to forced displacement.
- 71,338 cases of hepatitis.
- 38 hospitals bombed or rendered out of service.

5. Education and Academic Institutions:
- 149 schools, universities, and educational centers totally destroyed.

- 828 mosques completely destroyed.

7. Housing, Displacement, and Shelter:
- ≈210,000 housing units completely destroyed.
- ≈110,000 housing units severely damaged and uninhabitable.
- ≈180,000 housing units partially damaged.
- 280,000 Palestinian families are now homeless.
