The Russian Ministry of Defense announced on Thursday the destruction of the Yug Special Operations Command Center of the Ukrainian forces in the Mykolaiv Oblast, southern Ukraine, with an Iskander missile strike.
The Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement:
"The crews of the Russian Armed Forces' Iskander-M anti-tank missiles and the Giran-2 drone carried out a combined strike on the command center of the joint unit of the Special Operations Forces Center "South" of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Mykolaiv Oblast.
The strike targeted the command center where personnel were located, including the unit's leadership, as well as an ammunition depot and equipment positions."
