The health sector of the Palestinian Civil Society Organizations Network condemned the attack carried out by a group of bandits and criminals on the American field hospital run by the International Medical Corps (IMC) at dawn today in the Al-Zawayda area in the central Gaza Strip.
The attackers robbed the hospital's warehouses and stole large quantities of medical equipment and supplies.
The network stated on Friday that "in a serious and unprecedented incident, a group of armed men stormed the field hospital's warehouses and stole large quantities of medical equipment, supplies, medicines, and nutritional supplements for malnourished children."
It emphasized that this crime, which is contrary to the traditions and customs of our people, is taking place at a time when our Palestinian people are being subjected to Israeli genocide, including killing, starvation, and deprivation of the necessities of life.
The network stated that most hospitals in the Gaza Strip are out of service due to the occupation's bombing and its prevention of the entry of medicines and medical supplies, at a time when the health and humanitarian conditions are deteriorating, threatening the lives of tens of thousands of patients and wounded.
The network called on all international parties to pressure the occupation to open the crossings and allow humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip.
