Tokyo - Saba:
The Japanese government announced a $15.5 billion support package on Tuesday to help small and medium-sized Japanese enterprises cope with the impact of tariffs.
Japanese Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshimasa Hayashi said at a press conference, "The 2.2 trillion yen plan will include financing assistance for companies and relaxed lending terms with a state-backed credit institution."
Hayashi added, "We will provide full support to small and medium-sized enterprises affected by US tariffs."
