Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez reiterated his country's support for Palestinian rights, condemning the deteriorating humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip.

"A year after our recognition of the State of Palestine, the pain in Gaza is unbearable," Sanchez said in a post on the X platform, according to the Palestinian WAFA news agency on Wednesday.

He added, "Spain will continue to raise its voice, stronger than ever, to put an end to the massacre the world is witnessing today."
