The Technical and Media Committees of the Summer Activities and Courses honored on Sunday 128 female journalists from various official and private print, audio, and visual media outlets in recognition of their role in covering the summer courses.
During the ceremony, Amat al-Alim al-Dailami, a member of the Technical Committee for the Courses, and Sumayya al-Taifi, a member of the Media Committee, praised the efforts of the female journalists and their role in covering the summer courses' activities across various media platforms through programs, reports, diverse press and media materials.
Al-Dailami and al-Taifi stated, "Today, a large number of female journalists who covered the courses were honored. They successfully highlighted the cultural, educational, agricultural, and other activities held in the summer schools, and this recognition is far less than what they deserve."
They added, "Without the media efforts, coverage, and promotion, these activities would not have been brought to light and engaged with by the public on such a large scale."
