Marib – Saba:
Marib Governor Ali Taiman inaugurated on Sunday Al-Hareeb Al-Qaramish – Bani Hashish Sana’a road project, spanning 13 km at a total cost of 1.2 billion Yemeni riyals.
The project is jointly funded by the Road Maintenance Fund and the local authority in the province, with implementation carried out by the General Authority for Roads and Bridges.
During the inauguration ceremony, attended by the directors of the Public Works Office, Hani Al-Sufiani, and the Education Office, Ali Al-Zaidi, as well as the director of Al-Hareeb Al-Qaramish District, Sadiq Haisan, Governor Taiman received a briefing from the project manager, Yassin Al-Bahri, on the progress of work, including surveying, paving, and asphalting in the first phase. This phase covers three km at a cost of 300 million riyals.
Governor Taiman stressed the importance of completing the project within the specified timeframe and in accordance with the agreed-upon engineering specifications. He highlighted the project's significance in connecting Al-Hareeb Al-Qaramish District and neighboring areas to the capital, Sana’a.
He also praised the support of the government of change and development, the Ministry of Transport and Public Works, and its affiliated institutions in implementing the project and meeting the province’s developmental needs.
For his part, the director of Al-Hareeb Al-Qaramish District, Sadiq Haisan, commended the province’s leadership for their attention to the road project, emphasizing its impact on alleviating the hardships faced by residents, facilitating their transportation, and improving their access to services.
