Basem Naim, a member of the Political Bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), affirmed that his movement does not stop searching for a way out of the crisis, halting the ongoing bloodshed, and ending the blockade imposed on the Palestinian people.
In a statement on Sunday, Naim said that Hamas is in contact with all parties—often on its own initiative—particularly mediators, with an open mind to study any proposals (whether "inside or outside the box"), as long as they meet one condition: stopping the war and the withdrawal of enemy forces.
He pointed out that what is happening to our people these days is heartbreaking , shocking, and it is at the core of the leadership's equation in negotiations. However, this does not include accepting the formula proposed by Netanyahu and his fascist government—the "stage of annihilation"—with our approval.
