Tehran – Saba:

Commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Major General Hossein Salami said on Sunday that his country is fighting a comprehensive war, but is not suffering from any internal unrest.

During a ceremony honoring veterans of the Sacred Defense, Salami stated that "the Iranian people are living in stability and tranquility, without panic or chaos."

Salami added that "this stability amidst challenges is a rare phenomenon in modern history," according to the Iranian Mehr News Agency.

He pointed out that "Iran's opponents, led by Israel, are living in a state of constant tension and anxiety."

Major General Salami concluded his remarks by saying that "the IRGC is determined to confront and defeat its enemies."
