The Subcommittee for Summer Activities and Courses for Female Students in the Capital Secretariat organized on Sunday the closing ceremony for the summer schools of the year 1446 AH, held under the slogan "Knowledge and Jihad."
During the ceremony, the head of the subcommittee in the Secretariat, Ibtisam Al-Mahduri, commended the efforts made to ensure the success of the summer courses and their various activities, which witnessed significant community and official engagement and momentum.
She explained that the number of summer schools for girls in the Secretariat reached 500 schools, with 82,000 female students enrolled. She noted that the courses were enriched with numerous activities that contributed to enhancing the students' skills, abilities, and talents in various fields.
Al-Mahduri pointed out that this year's summer activities were distinguished by their focus on the Yamani foundation in learning the Holy Quran, which will serve as a starting point for incorporating it into general education.
She praised the role of the media in highlighting the summer activities, as well as the efforts of school principals and all staff members in implementing the activities and courses and garnering community support for their schools.
