Preliminary results from municipal and mayoral elections in Lebanon's South and Nabatieh governorates indicate a significant victory for the "Development and Loyalty" lists.
They secured complete wins in the cities of Tyre and Nabatieh, as well as in numerous towns and villages, particularly in border areas where polling stations were relocated to Nabatieh. The lists also gained significant ground in the districts of Marjeyoun, Zahrani, and Sidon.
According to al-Manar website, spontaneous celebrations and motorcades erupted across the South, especially in Tyre and Nabatieh, following the announcement of the preliminary results.
Celebrators waved Hezbollah and Amal Movement flags, displayed images of martyrs and leaders, and chanted slogans affirming their commitment to "jihad and resistance" in defense of the South.
