Tunisia - Saba:

Dozens of activists demonstrated in the capital, Tunis, to demand an end to the siege on the Gaza Strip and condemn the ongoing genocide and Zionist violations against Palestinians.

According to SAFA News Agency, the "Ansar Palestine" Association called for a protest on Saturday evening under the slogan "Genocide and starvation continue... The world is rising up, and when will you?" to express protest and anger over the ongoing war on Gaza.

On the sidelines of the rally in front of the Municipal Theater in Tunis, Riadh Al-Zahafi, a member of the association's board of directors, said, "The primary goal of today's vigil is to demand the breaking of the siege on Gaza. This is the 84th vigil since the start of Operation Flood of Al-Aqsa" on October 7, 2023.

Al-Zahafi added, "The vigil also aims to condemn the ongoing genocide against the Palestinian people since the Zionist entity violated the truce last March, and to denounce Israeli violations and starvation practices against the Palestinians."

He pointed out that the vigil chose the slogan "The world is rising up, and when will you?"

He explained that "the association directs this slogan to everyone who has not yet engaged in movements in support of the Palestinian people, has not participated in campaigns to boycott products that support the enemy, and to everyone who has not supported Gaza in the media or with words."

Tunisian protesters held up signs reading "Stop the Genocide," "Stop the Massacre," "Save Gaza's Childhood," and "Freedom for Palestine."

Since October 7, 2023, the "enemy" has continued its widespread genocidal crime against the Palestinians of the Gaza Strip, including killing, destruction, starvation, and forced displacement, ignoring international appeals and orders from the International Court of Justice to halt it.
