Tulkarm - (Saba):
Israeli enemy forces continue their aggression against the city of Tulkarm and its camp for the 117th consecutive day, and for the 104th day against the Nur Shams camp.
The aggression continues amid an escalation on the ground, resulting in heavy human and material losses to property and infrastructure, and ongoing violations against civilians.
The city continues to witness intensive movements of enemy vehicles and infantry units around the clock, patrolling the main streets and neighborhoods, obstructing the movement of citizens and vehicles.
At dawn on Friday, enemy vehicles stormed the Shuweika suburb north of the city, patrolling the main streets, and conducting extensive searches, particularly in the Na'alwa neighborhood.
At the same time, the enemy continues to impose a stifling siege on the Tulkarm and Nur Shams camps, accompanied by occasional gunfire and explosions.
Forcibly displaced families in the two camps continue to be prevented from returning to their homes or even losing their property, and they are subjected to harassment and gunfire when they attempt to approach.
In recent days, Nur Shams camp has witnessed a demolition campaign that has affected more than 20 residential buildings in its main neighborhoods, damaging neighboring buildings.
This comes as part of the occupation's plan to demolish 106 buildings in the two camps, including 58 in Tulkarm camp and 48 in Nur Shams camp, to open roads and alter their geographical features.
Enemy forces also continue to seize homes and residential buildings on Nablus Street and the adjacent northern neighborhood, after forcibly evicting their residents and converting them into military barracks. Some of these buildings have been under occupation for more than two months.
In this context, Nablus Street, which connects Tulkarm and Nur Shams camps, has suffered significant damage after the occupation forces placed intermittent earth mounds along its length a few months ago, significantly impacting vehicle traffic and exacerbating the suffering of residents.
Meanwhile, the occupation forces continue to restrict citizens' movement through the southern entrance to Tulkarm, setting up a "flying" checkpoint around the Jabara Bridge gate from time to time.
The ongoing aggression has resulted in the martyrdom of 13 citizens, along with dozens more wounded and detained. It has also caused widespread destruction to infrastructure, homes, shops, and vehicles, as a result of demolitions, arson, and looting.
The aggression has displaced more than 4,200 families from the two camps, representing over 25,000 citizens, and has resulted in the complete destruction of more than 400 homes and the partial destruction of 2,573 others.
