Sana'a – Saba:
Judge Ahmed al-Kuhlani, head of the Financial Affairs Sector at the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights, on Wednesday inspected the work of joint committees from the Ministries of Justice and Civil Service.
These committees are tasked with completing fingerprint and biometric procedures for employees within the Ministry of Justice and the courts. Their work also includes issuing unified job numbers to new staff and rectifying payroll records.
Judge al-Kuhlani received a briefing from the committee's specialists on the technical processes of employee registration, photography, and fingerprinting.
The judge commended the committee for its efforts in implementing the ministry's plan for financial and administrative reforms, in collaboration with the judiciary and the Ministries of Civil Service and Finance, which aims to prevent future irregularities.
Al-Kuhlani noted that the two-week effort has resulted in the assignment of job numbers to 559 employees who had not previously undergone biometric identification. Al-Kahlani emphasized that these measures reflect the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights leadership's commitment to enhancing transparency and job discipline.
The Financial Affairs Officer highlighted that this step is a crucial component of the ministry's broader reform agenda to strengthen good governance and control over the financial and administrative systems. It also aligns with the ongoing development of government work systems and the adoption of technical advancements that benefit public sector employees and safeguard their employment rights.
