Sana'a - Saba:
Deputy Minister of Administration and Local and Rural Development Nasser al-Mehdhar on Wednesday affirmed that unity remains firmly rooted in the conscience of Yemenis and will remain an eternal Yemeni symbol, regardless of the enemies' conspiracies and attempts to undermine it.
In a statement, al-Mehdhar explained that Yemeni unity represented a shining moment in the lives of the Yemeni people and the Arab and Islamic nations, and will remain an icon of pride and dignity for all successive generations.
He pointed out that unity is here to stay, as it is the impregnable fortress for all Yemenis against external challenges and conspiracies, and that the Yemeni people will not abandon it after suffering the scourge of fragmentation, division, and dispersion for decades.
Al-Mehdhar addressed the suffering of citizens in the occupied governorates due to the deterioration of services, chaos, insecurity, and the ongoing cycle of conflict between warring militias planted by the Saudi-Emirati occupier. He pointed out that the "divide and rule" approach pursued by the occupation in the occupied governorates aims to distract citizens from its plundering of Yemen's oil and gas resources.
The Deputy Minister of Administration and Local and Rural Development emphasized that the state of chaos in the occupied governorates is the disastrous alternative sought by the occupation instead of national unity.
He praised the struggles of the free people in the occupied governorates against the occupation, noting that the National Day for the Re-establishment of Yemeni Unity is an important occasion for national alignment and the unification of the ranks of all free citizens to expel the occupier, a failed attempt dragging its tails of shame and disgrace.
