Sana'a – Saba:
The first scientific conference on medical administration on Wednesday held at the University of September 21 concluded with a series of recommendations aimed at enhancing Yemen's healthcare system. Participants called for the establishment of a joint national body with the Ministry of Health to accredit health institutions and the prioritization of employing graduates from the university's Faculty of Medical Administration.
The conference, themed "towards effective medical management for sustainable medical services of high quality," also emphasized the need to accredit the university's continuing education center as a national training hub and to adopt a national classification for health management professionals.
Other key recommendations included the implementation of a unified national "Health Record" system, the utilization of telemedicine technologies, the integration of quality management and patient safety education in medical curricula, and the strengthening of partnerships between the public and private health sectors. The potential inclusion of psychological rehabilitation in patient treatment plans was also highlighted.
