London - Saba:
British Foreign Secretary David Lammy announced on Tuesday the summoning of the Israeli ambassador to London in protest against the continued aggression on Gaza Strip.
He also revealed his country's decision to suspend negotiations with the Israeli occupation government regarding a free trade agreement.
In a speech before the House of Commons, Lammy stated: "We have summoned the Israeli ambassador to convey a clear message to the Israelis that the continuation of the war in Gaza is harming our relations with their government."
He further confirmed the suspension of trade agreement talks with the Israeli government, adding, "We have halted arms sales to Israel that could be used in Gaza."
Lammy continued, "We want a ceasefire in Gaza and a return to the diplomatic path," emphasizing that his country "will do everything in its power to end the war in Gaza."
