Sana'a - Saba;
The summer model school Al-Fath Al-Maw'ood and Al-Jihad Al-Muqaddas in Al-Madinah village, Jahana District, Sana'a province, organized an entertainment trip on Monday for its students to recreational and historical sites in the capital, Sana'a.
The students began their trip by visiting the Great Mosque in Al-Madinah village, Jahana, before proceeding to the Great Mosque in Old Sana'a—a mosque built by the command of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family). They listened to a detailed explanation about the mosque's construction, its history, and its religious significance and sanctity.
The visitors also viewed rare manuscripts and various books in the Great Mosque's library, the most prominent and precious of which is the Quran of Imam Ali (peace be upon him), written in his noble handwriting.
The students then visited the Mosque of Imam Ali bin Abi Talib in Old Sana'a, built on the site where Imam Ali (peace be upon him) met the people of Yemen, who received the message of the Messenger of all humanity and embraced Islam on that day.
This was followed by a visit to the mausoleum and exhibition of the martyr President Saleh Al-Sammad, one of the exemplary figures of the Quranic march. The students listened to a detailed explanation of the martyr President's life and reviewed his biography through a photo exhibition documenting important aspects of his jihadist journey.
As part of the entertainment trip's program, the students, accompanied by the school's director, Abdulkarim Al-Ramadi, moved to Al-Sha'ab Mosque, where they learned about its contents and its current enlightening role in confronting extremism and sectarianism.
The trip concluded with a visit to the zoo, where the students spent time enjoying the games and learning about the various animals housed in the park.
The school director and students appreciated the support of the administration of Al-Shahid Muhammad Al-Durrah Hospital in Jahana, represented by the hospital's director-general, Dr. Talal Al-Jabri, and the hospital staff, for the summer courses and their activities in the district, as well as for facilitating this recreational trip for the students.
