Hamas has affirmed that the Zionist enemy's approval of the construction of a security wall on the eastern border with Jordan will not protect it from the repercussions of its escalating crimes against the Palestinian people, their land, and their holy sites.
The movement said in a statement Sunday evening that the Zionist enemy's cabinet's approval of the construction of a security wall on the eastern border with Jordan will not protect it from the repercussions of its crimes and escalating brutality against our Palestinian people, their land, and their holy sites. Rather, its settlement plans will only increase our people's insistence on the path of resistance as an effective means to liberate Palestine.
It added that the security wall projects previously built by the enemy failed to confront the resistance and anger of the Palestinian people, which can only be quelled by expelling the occupier and restoring their historical rights.
Hamas emphasized that this failure will be repeated with the new security wall. It called for a unified, strong, and pressure-filled Arab and Islamic stance on the enemy to thwart its colonial projects and its plans for expansion and control in the region.
