Palestinian medical sources announced that "90% of families in the Gaza Strip face water insecurity" due to the systematic Israeli destruction of infrastructure, as the aggression enters its 583rd day.
The Palestinian WAFA News Agency quoted Palestinian medical sources as saying that the percentage of contaminated water samples has risen to more than 25%, leading to the spread of numerous diseases among citizens.
The same sources indicated that with the onset of summer and the rise in temperatures, the need for water, especially drinking water, increases, and population centers in displacement sites suffer catastrophic conditions due to the lack of available water sources.
