The Russian Defense Ministry announced on Monday the liberation of the town of Kotlyarovka in the Donetsk Republic and the elimination of 1,285 Ukrainian soldiers, along with the destruction of dozens of tanks, armored vehicles, and weapons belonging to Kyiv’s forces within 24 hours.
In its daily briefing on the progress of the military operation in Ukraine, the Russian Defense Ministry stated:
-"North" Group of Forces inflicted losses on the enemy in Ukraine’s Sumy region, killing 190 soldiers and destroying one tank, three armored vehicles, 12 military vehicles, five artillery guns, a HIMARS rocket launcher, three ammunition depots, and an electronic warfare station.
- "West" Group of Forces strengthened their positions in Donetsk, killing 230 enemy soldiers and destroying one tank, seven vehicles, three artillery pieces, two electronic warfare stations, and two ammunition depots.
- "South" Group of Forces continued their advance in the Donetsk Republic, killing 200 soldiers and destroying three armored vehicles, nine military vehicles, six artillery guns, four ammunition depots, and two electronic warfare stations.
- "Center" Group of Forces liberated the town of Kotlyarovka in the Donetsk Republic, killing 440 enemy soldiers and destroying three armored vehicles, 14 military vehicles, and two artillery guns.
- "East" Group of Forces continued their advance in Donetsk, killing 170 soldiers and destroying two armored vehicles, nine military vehicles, and eight artillery guns.
- "Dnieper" Group of Forces advanced in the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions, killing 55 soldiers and destroying six military vehicles, one artillery gun, and two electronic warfare stations.
Russian forces continued to target the infrastructure of several military airfields, including workshops and ammunition depots, as well as drone assembly sites.
Additionally, nine U.S.-made JDAM guided bombs and two HIMARS rockets were intercepted, along with 135 drones.
