The Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades announced today, Monday, that it had decided to release the Israeli soldier, Idan Alexander, who holds dual citizenship.
Qassam Brigades spokesman Abu Obeida said in a tweet on Telegram, "The Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades has decided to release the captured Zionist soldier, Idan Alexander, who holds American citizenship, today, Monday."
Yesterday, Hamas announced that it had been in contact with the US administration over the past few days as part of efforts to achieve a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, expressing a high degree of positivity.
