The Israeli newspaper Haaretz reported that Tel Aviv University published a study revealing that one in eight Israeli soldiers who participated in military operations in Gaza suffers from psychological disorders that make them unfit to return to service.

The study indicated that approximately 12% of reserve soldiers who served in Gaza reported severe symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder, which significantly impacts their ability to continue performing their military duties.
