Gaza - Saba:
The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) described on Thursday the hunger in Gaza Strip as "unprecedented."
Quoting one of its team members in Gaza, UNRWA stated: "The hunger in Gaza is unlike anything seen before," according to the Palestine Today Agency.
The agency added: "Gaza has become a land of despair. The siege must end, aid must be allowed in, hostages must be released, and a ceasefire must be implemented immediately."
Meanwhile, independent UN experts confirmed on Thursday that "Israel" continues to relentlessly destroy life in Gaza.
In a joint statement, the UN experts said: "While states debate terminology—whether it is genocide or not—‘Israel’ continues its relentless destruction of life in Gaza."
They added: "This is one of the most horrific and blatant violations of human dignity and life."
The experts continued: "The choice is clear: remain passive and watch innocent people be slaughtered, or engage in shaping a just solution. The global conscience has awakened, and justice will ultimately prevail."
