Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades on Wednesday mourned field commander Khaled Ahmed al-Ahmad (Abu Ibrahim), from the occupied town of Nahf, Acre district.
Al-Qassam Brigades announced in a statement on Wednesday that Abu Ibrahim was martyred during the Battle of the Flood of al-Aqsa, at dawn today, in a Zionist assassination operation in southern Lebanon.
The statement noted that the martyr "al-Ahmad" left "special marks" in the path of jihad, resistance, and confronting the occupation, "concluding his jihad, joining those who preceded him among his righteous martyred brothers in the Battle of the Flood of al-Aqsa."
Al-Qassam Brigades reiterated its commitment to continuing the path of resistance, jihad, and preparation "on the purest path charted by the mujahideen with their pure blood," until the Palestinian people's dream of liberation and return is achieved.
Earlier this morning, the National News Agency (the official Lebanese news agency) reported that a hostile drone targeted a civilian car at dawn on Wednesday in the Villas area near the Imam Ali Mosque in the city of Sidon.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health stated that the hostile Zionist airstrike in the city of Sidon, southern Lebanon, resulted in the martyrdom of one person.
