Sana'a - (Saba):
The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning expects scattered thunderstorms of varying intensity across several governorates over the next 24 hours.
The center stated in its weather bulletin that thunderstorms of varying intensity, possibly accompanied by hail, are expected in the governorates of Hajjah, Amran, Sana'a, Al Mahwit, Dhamar, Raymah, Ibb, Al Dhale'e, Al Bayda, Taiz, and the Tihama Plain.
Scattered rains, sometimes accompanied by thunder, are likely in parts of the governorates of Saada, Socotra, and the highlands of Lahj, Abyan, Shabwah, and Hadramaut.
According to the center, rainfall over the past 24 hours, measured at meteorological stations in Ibb, reached 26 mm, Al Mahwit: 12.4 mm, Taiz Airport: 7.8 mm, Hajjah: 4.4 mm, and Sana'a Haddah: 0.6 mm.
Rainfall of varying intensity fell outside the stations in parts of the governorates of Lahj, Ad Dali', Al Bayda, Raymah, Dhamar, Socotra, the Tihama Plain, and western Shabwah.
The center warned citizens of flash floods in valleys and ravines and advised against crossing or staying in their paths during and after rainfall.
It also warned of strong downward winds, hail, and thunderstorms, urging people to take the necessary precautions to avoid them to protect lives and property.
It also warned of poor visibility due to rain, low clouds, and fog, especially on roads and mountain slopes.
