Berlin - Saba:
The German Foreign Ministry expressed its rejection of the Israeli government's plans to permanently occupy the Gaza Strip.

Ministry spokesman Sebastian Fischer said in response to a press inquiry: "Gaza belongs to the Palestinians," noting that reports revealing plans to occupy the Strip are "worrying."
