Sana'a - (Saba):
The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning has forecast scattered thunderstorms of varying intensity across several governorates over the next 24 hours.
In its weather bulletin, the center indicated the possibility of thunderstorms of varying intensity, sometimes accompanied by hail, over parts of the governorates of Hajjah, Al Mahwit, Amran, Raymah, Dhamar, Ibb, Taiz, Hodeida, and the Tihama Plain.
Scattered rains, sometimes accompanied by thunder, are expected over parts of the governorates of Sana'a, Dhale'e, Bayda, Shabwah, Lahj, the highlands of Abyan, and Socotra.
The center reported that the amount of rain that fell over the past 24 hours, as measured at meteorological stations in Hodeida and Al Zahra, was 1.8 mm, Amran: 1.8 mm, and Hajjah: 1.3 mm.
Scattered rains of varying intensity fell outside the stations' range in parts of the governorates of Saada, Hajjah, Al Mahwit, Sana'a, Raymah, Dhamar, Ibb, Taiz, Socotra, and the Tihama Plain.
The center warned citizens against being in or crossing flood channels and valleys during and after rainfall, and against lightning and thunderstorms, and against crossing over ground bridges during floods.
It also warned drivers of reduced visibility due to low clouds and rainfall on mountain roads.
