Channel 12 of the Israeli enemy revealed on Sunday that the warhead of the Yemeni missile that struck Ben Gurion Airport was extremely large, causing massive explosions.
The missile reportedly penetrated four layers of air defense and landed in the heart of the airport.
Meanwhile, the Army Radio cited a military source stating that both the American THAAD system and the Israeli "Hetz" system attempted to intercept the Yemeni missile but failed.
In turn, the "Walla" website reported that the security and political cabinet meeting on expanding the ground operation in Gaza was canceled following the strike on Ben Gurion Airport.
For his part, Yair Golan, leader of the opposition Democratic Party, said, "Once again, two million Israelis are rushing to shelters. The war must end, and the captives must be returned."
The missile, launched from Yemen and landing near Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv, created a very deep crater estimated to be 25 meters in diameter.
