Damascus - (Saba):
Israeli warplanes launched an airstrike last night targeting the vicinity of the village of Shatha in the northwestern Hama countryside.
Syrian media reported intensive flights by several Israeli warplanes entering Lebanese airspace toward central Syria, coinciding with Turkish warplanes flying over the Syrian-Turkish border in the Idlib and Aleppo countrysides.
Syrian press sources said that Israeli warplanes penetrated the airspace of Hama, Homs, and Latakia and targeted the vicinity of the village of Shatha.
Israeli media reported earlier on Friday that the Israeli army was preparing to target additional sites inside Syria, including military and regime targets.
