Secretary-General of Ibb Province Local Council Amin al-Warafi on Saturday reviewed the progress of the 92 million Y.R rehabilitation project for the central slaughterhouse, funded by the Agricultural Initiatives and Projects Financing Unit.
He emphasized the project's importance for food security and service quality, urging collaboration for its completion and sustainability.
Al-Warafi stressed the need to improve slaughterhouse performance, oversee meat shops, prevent female livestock slaughter, and inspect marketed products to preserve livestock.
He praised the efforts of the slaughterhouse corporation's leadership and staff in improving services and urged continued market inspections to ensure adherence to health standards.
