Sana'a - (Saba):
The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning expects scattered rainfall of varying intensity to continue across the provinces over the next 24 hours.
The center reported in its weather bulletin that thunderstorms of varying intensity, sometimes accompanied by hail, are expected in Saada, Amran, Hajjah, Al Mahwit, Sana'a, Dhamar, Raymah, Ibb, Taiz, the Tihama Plain, and the Socotra Archipelago.
It also indicated the possibility of scattered rainfall, sometimes accompanied by thunder, across parts of the provinces of Al Dhale'e, Al Bayda, the highlands of Lahj, Abyan, western Al Jawf, and the eastern coast.
The amount of rainfall measured at meteorological stations in Al Mahwit was 1.5 mm, Ibb: 1.4 mm, Hajjah: 0.6 mm, Raymah: 1.5 mm, Al Kud-Abyan: 0.1 mm, and Sarfit-Al Mahrah: 0.1 mm.
Scattered rainfall of varying intensity fell outside the stations' range in parts of the provinces of Taiz, Amran, Dhamar, Sana'a, and the highlands of the Tihama Plain.
The center warned citizens against being in or crossing floodwaters and valleys during and after rainfall, and against thunderstorms and advised them to follow safety measures to prevent them.
It also warned drivers of poor visibility due to low clouds and rainfall, especially on mountain roads.
