The Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) announced the arrest of a citizen in Crimea on charges of collecting and transmitting information about military installations of the Russian Armed Forces in Simferopol to the Ukrainian Security Service.
The Russian news agency TASS quoted the FSB on Monday as saying, "Investigations revealed that the suspect, a resident of Simferopol, was recruited by the Ukrainian Security Service for covert cooperation. He collected and sent data on the locations of the Russian Armed Forces in Crimea to the Ukrainian side via a foreign messaging application, on the instructions of his supervisor."
The FSB added, "The suspect confessed to the charges against him."
