Berlin - Saba:
European stock markets closed higher on Friday, with the STOXX 600 index rising 0.5%, alongside a 0.9% gain in the U.S. S&P 500.
Germany’s DAX advanced 0.6%, and France’s CAC 40 edged up 0.2%. Shares of German engineering firm Siemens AG rose 0.8%, after a 3% jump amid easing U.S.-China trade tensions.
Renewable energy stocks also extended gains from the previous session, with Vestas shares surging around 7%.
