The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) praised the decision of the Oxford City Council in Britain to withdraw investments and stop dealing with the Zionist enemy, considering it an important step in the process of boycotting the enemy and exposing its crimes to the world.
The Front explained in a press statement that "this historic decision comes from one of the most prominent historical strongholds of support for the Zionist entity, which gives it special significance in the march of global solidarity with the Palestinian cause."
It stated, "This decision represents a victory for the will of free peoples who reject collusion with the enemy and colonial regimes."
The Front commended the Council members' stances and their courage in advocating for justice and human values, responding to the voice and suffering of the Palestinian people, especially in the Gaza Strip, who are facing crimes of genocide, massacres, bombing, destruction, and displacement plans.
It commended the role of activists and boycott committees in Britain and free people around the world who exerted great efforts in pressuring for this achievement.
The Front added that this step constitutes a model for institutions and organizations around the world to emulate, as part of the effort to boycott and isolate the occupation and expose its racist and colonial policies.
It called for expanding the scope of the boycott of the enemy to include all military, economic, political, and academic sectors, as part of efforts to delegitimize this entity and halt its ongoing crimes against the Palestinian people.
