Chinese President Xi Jinping announced that Beijing and Moscow will jointly defend the results of the victory in World War II and international law and counter attempts to impose hegemony.
Chinese television quoted Xi Jinping as saying: "As two major countries and permanent members of the UN Security Council, China and Russia will work together to defend the results of the victory in World War II, safeguard the international order based on the United Nations and international law, and resolutely counter attempts to impose hegemony."
