The Government Media Office in Gaza confirmed on Tuesday that the Israeli enemy continues its crimes of enforced disappearance by abducting 15 ambulance and civil defense personnel in Rafah, demanding their immediate release.
The office explained in a press statement that this crime represents a flagrant violation of international law, as humanitarian workers enjoy special protection under the Geneva Conventions. This makes these practices a war crime that requires immediate accountability.
The office condemned this grave crime in the strongest terms, holding the Israeli occupation and the US administration fully responsible for the fate and safety of these abductees.
It called on the international community, the United Nations, the International Committee of the Red Cross, and all human rights and humanitarian organizations to urgently intervene and pressure the occupation to immediately release the abductees and ensure that these crimes, which contravene all humanitarian values and international norms, are not repeated.
