Lebanese Hezbollah denounced on Tuesday the Zionist enemy's resumption of its war of extermination against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, targeting children, women, and unarmed civilians as they slept.
The party said in a statement, "The Zionist enemy, which has failed to break the will of the Palestinian resistance throughout 15 months of brutal war, will not succeed in achieving what it failed to achieve through this renewed aggression."
The party added that the terrorist Netanyahu government's decision to overturn the ceasefire and resume the war in partnership with the US administration, amid shameful international silence, confirms that "the Zionist entity is a rogue entity that does not respect any pledges or agreements."
The statement noted that "America and the occupation are two sides of the same bloodthirsty coin, knowing only the language of killing and destruction."
It also noted that the resumption of aggression against Gaza "exposes the truth about the US administration's continued efforts to destabilize the region through aggression against Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, and Yemen, through its absolute support for the Zionist entity and its efforts to impose new policies and facts on the ground by force of fire."
Hezbollah added that the occupation aims to "erase the just Palestinian cause and displace its people from their land," noting that Palestine will remain "the central issue of the nation" and Gaza will remain "a symbol of pride and steadfastness." The statement affirmed that the Palestinian people will continue to be a role model for all peoples of the world in their struggle for justice and holy sites.
The party condemned the suffocating siege and starvation being imposed on the people of Gaza, considering it a "flagrant violation of all international laws and humanitarian conventions." Hezbollah also reiterated its "full and steadfast support for the Palestinian resistance and the people of Gaza."
The party called on Arab and Islamic peoples and the free people of the world to expose the "American-Zionist" partnership in the war of extermination against the Palestinian people. It also called on the free international community, the United Nations, the Security Council, and human rights and humanitarian organizations to take urgent action to halt the ongoing crime against humanity and to raise their voices loudly to stop the Zionist-American barbarism.
