Jenin - Saba:

The Zionist enemy forces continue their aggression against the city of Jenin and its camp for the 109th day, expanding their bulldozing and destruction operations inside the camp with the aim of changing its features and structure, and continuing to prevent entry or access to it.

The Palestinian News Agency, Wafa, reported on Thursday that enemy soldiers transformed the UNRWA girls' school into a military barracks, placing their equipment, some mattresses, and food inside, and wreaking havoc in its classrooms and corridors. Plumes of smoke rose near the "Prisoner's Mosque" in the vicinity of the camp after the occupation forces set fire to that area.

The enemy forces also continue their complete closure of Jenin camp, preventing access to it or the return of displaced persons to their homes, amid ongoing bulldozing and destruction operations inside it with the aim of changing its structure and features.

According to Jenin Municipality estimates, approximately 600 homes were completely demolished in the camp, while the rest were partially damaged and rendered uninhabitable. The enemy also caused significant damage to facilities, homes, and infrastructure in the city of Jenin, particularly in the eastern and al-Hadaf neighborhoods.

Enemy forces surrounded a house in the town of Barta'a, northwest of Jenin, and arrested a young man after searching the house and destroying its contents. The enemy had closed Barta'a checkpoint, the only outlet for residents of the town and the village of Tura to the rest of the governorate.

Villages in Jenin Governorate are witnessing almost daily raids as the aggression against the city and camp continues. Daily military movements are recorded in most villages of the governorate, along with the constant presence of enemy patrols and vehicles.

Enemy forces continue to send military reinforcements toward the camp and its surroundings, while infantry units are deployed daily in several neighborhoods of the city.

Families from the camp, along with hundreds of families from the city and its surroundings, are still being forcibly displaced. The Jenin Municipality indicates that the number of displaced persons from the camp and city has exceeded 22,000.

The economic situation in Jenin is deteriorating further, with commercial losses recorded as a result of the aggression, which has led to the closure of many shops and a decline in shopping traffic in the city. This is in addition to bulldozing and destroying infrastructure and streets, and damaging a large number of shops, especially in the western neighborhoods, which are experiencing a near-total economic paralysis. Losses are estimated at approximately $300 million.

Since the start of the aggression on the city and camp on January 21, 40 people have been killed, along with dozens more injured and arrested.
