The Zionist occupation forces released Palestinian Sheikh Taha Al-Qutnani from the city of Nablus on Thursday after two and a half years of imprisonment in the enemy's jails.
According to the Sanad News Agency, Al-Qutnani is the father of martyr Ashraqat Al-Qutnani, who was martyred in November 2017 by enemy gunfire at the Huwara checkpoint south of Nablus after attempting a stabbing operation against settlers.
Sheikh Taha is also the father of two detained sons, Yassin and Habib Al-Rahman Al-Qutnani, and has been arrested multiple times by the occupation.
The Zionist enemy arrested Al-Qutnani in November 2022, and he was finally released today after enduring harsh conditions in the occupation prisons.
The number of prisoners in the enemy's jails exceeds 9,900, a figure that does not include Gaza detainees subjected to the crime of enforced disappearance—among them 29 female prisoners and 400 children.
