The first edition of the Martyr Leader Ramadan Football Championship for youth kicked off today at the 22nd May Club stadium in Sana'a, with the participation of 12 teams from the neighborhoods of Sha'ub District.

The opening match saw Shabab Al-Najm defeat Shabab 22nd May (3-1), while the second match ended in a draw (1-1) between Juniors 22nd May and Shabab Irfan.

The club president Mohammed Al-Hadrami confirmed that the championship aims to enhance familiarity among youth and discover talents, while the sports activity official Abdul-Hafiz Al-Shawafi indicated that the championship is held according to the league system, and the Buds League will be launched next Friday with the participation of 16 teams.
