Sana'a – Saba:
Sana'a on Saturday witnessed massive celebratory festivals across its districts to commemorate the Day of al-Wilayah, under the slogan "Whoever I am his master, then this Ali his master."
These gatherings, interspersed with cultural, poetic, and musical performances, highlighted the deep connection of Yemenis to Imam Ali (peace be upon him) and the significance of this faith-based legacy.
Participants emphasized that commemorating the Day of al-Wilayah is crucial for the nation to reclaim its rightful path, achieve pride, defend its sanctities, and champion its causes.
The participants, including officials and religious scholars, reiterated the Yemeni people's strong faith in Imam Ali's al-Wilayah, as declared by the Prophet.
They stressed that this anniversary aims to consolidate faith identity, Quranic culture, and steadfastness against the enemies of the nation, explicitly naming America and Israel.
Key figures underlined that the al-Wilayah of Imam Ali is a life project, urging adherence to his approach of justice, courage, and perseverance against global tyrants.
They argued that the nation's fragmentation and vulnerability stem from a deviation in loyalty, emphasizing that true loyalty to God, His Messenger, and Imam Ali, as understood in the Quran, is the only guarantee for preserving the nation's dignity and resisting oppression.
The events, held in multiple squares including the People's University East Square, Tahrir Square, the Military College Square, and the New University North Square, featured pledges of allegiance to the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, and unwavering support for the Palestinian people.
The events also praised Yemen's faith-based model for its role in confronting enemies at sea and ongoing operations against Zionists, asserting that such actions are a direct result of embracing the true principles of guardianship.
The celebrations underscored the urgent need for the nation to fully comprehend and apply the Quranic concept of al-Wilayah in all aspects of life.
