The Commission of Prisoners' Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoners' Club said that the number of detainees in the "Israeli" occupation prisons reached more than 9,500 by the beginning of this March.
The Commission and the Club indicated in a joint statement, today, Wednesday, that the number of detained children is more than 350, women 21, and administrators 3405, according to what was reported by the Palestinian News Agency "Safa".
The statement explained that the number of Gaza detainees recognized by the occupation prison administration is 1555, noting that this data does not include all detainees, specifically those in the camps affiliated with the occupation army.
The total number of detainees before the start of the "Israeli" war of extermination on the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, exceeded 5,250, and the number of female detainees was 40. While the number of children in prisons was 170, and the number of administrators was about 1,320.
