In a letter to the Security Council on Wednesday, Iran denied allegations of sending weapons to Russia.
In a letter from Iran's Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Saeed Iravani, to the Security Council, Tehran categorically denied allegations made by the United States, France, and Ukraine regarding the sending of weapons to Russia for use in the Ukrainian war.
In the letter, the text of which was reported by the Iranian Tasnim News Agency, the Iranian representative described these allegations as a systematic disinformation campaign.
In the letter addressed to UN Secretary-General António Guterres and Security Council President Eloy Alvaro de Alba, Iran stated that accusations that it supplied Russia with ballistic missiles and drones for use in the Ukrainian war are "baseless and unsubstantiated."
