Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmail Baghaei condemned on Friday the threat to the civilian plane carrying Lebanese citizens by the Zionist entity, considering it a continuation of blatant and repeated violations of the principles and rules of international law, and a violation of Lebanon's national sovereignty.
According to what was reported by Tasnim International News Agency, Baghaei referred to the threat to the civilian plane carrying Lebanese citizens by the Zionist entity, which caused the disruption of regular civilian flights to Beirut airport. He said: "This action by the occupying regime is a continuation of blatant and repeated violations of the principles and rules of international law, and a violation of Lebanon's national sovereignty."
The Iranian spokesman called for serious measures to be taken by the relevant international organizations, including the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), to stop the dangerous behaviors carried out by the Zionist entity against the safety and security of civil aviation.
