Al-Mahwit Governor, Hanin Qatina, and the General Mobilization Officer in the Governorate, Ismail Sharaf Al-Din, reviewed the progress of the activities of the "Al-Aqsa Flood" course organized by the College of Applied Sciences and Humanities in Shibam Branch.

The governor praised the efforts made to organize this unique course, which aims to raise students' awareness of the issues of the nation, most notably the Palestinian cause, and to enhance their faith and national identity.

Qatinah stressed the importance of the role of youth in facing the challenges and soft war targeting the nation, calling for maximum benefit from these courses to enhance steadfastness and adherence to religious and national constants. He also praised the efforts of Al-Mahwit University in graduating qualified cadres capable of facing the challenges of development.

For his part, the General Mobilization Officer indicated that the course comes within a comprehensive program to enhance loyalty and belonging, stressing that youth are the backbone of the nation and its impregnable fortress in the face of aggression and conspiracies.

During the visit, the governor and the mobilization officer inspected the first aid course and the cultural activity for female university students and reviewed the university branch’s equipment related to the educational process. The President of Al-Mahwit University, Dr. Mohammed Al-Shalabi, provided an explanation of the academic activities and the university’s efforts to develop education and serve the community through scientific programs that meet development needs.
