The Supreme Authority for Clans Affairs in Gaza confirmed that the Palestinian people in the Strip "thwarted the Zionist enemy's plans, through their legendary steadfastness", such that "they did not leave their land, despite the war of extermination, ethnic cleansing, starvation and the attempt to displace them from the Strip."
In a statement, the Authority saluted the Palestinian resistance, which "heroically confronted the Zionist occupation and its military arsenal.
