The Board of Directors of the Yemeni General Organization for Cement Industry and Marketing, headed by the Minister of Economy, Industry and Investment, Eng. Mueen Al-Mahagri discussed the performance reports of the Corporation and its factories and plans to develop the production and marketing process.
The Minister praised the efforts of the leadership and cadres of the Corporation in facing challenges, improving the regularity of operation, and developing the administrative and financial system. He stressed the need to work with an ambitious future vision to increase productivity and market share, with a focus on reducing production costs and introducing alternative solutions such as the use of alternative energy.
The minister also called for continuous review of the corporation's plans during the year 2025, including enhancing production capacity and sales, focusing on sustainable production, and rationalizing spending to achieve development goals. He stressed the importance of supporting the local industry by localizing clinker and preventing its import while searching for export opportunities taking advantage of the new investment law.
